Ampleon Netherlands B.V. and its subsidiaries are committed to ensure social responsibility as we conduct our business. We believe that as a sustainable company, we need our plants, our suppliers and contractors to join us in this commitment, based on a shared set of values and principles.

We understand the worldwide concerns regarding the use of certain minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and surrounding countries. Ampleon shares the deep concern about sources of minerals from these conflict zones and is therefore committed to make its products DRC conflict-free and obtain full transparency throughout its supply chain.

Ampleon supports the goals and objectives of Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act, which aims at preventing the use of conflict minerals that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or an adjoining country as defined in the Act as “Covered Countries”, (Conflict Region). The Act requires companies to perform due diligence with respect to the sourcing of conflict minerals and to file annual reports relating to use of conflict minerals. Ampleon will comply with the conflict-free minerals requirements in the manufacture of our products.

Ampleon requires our suppliers, including contractors and external manufacturers, to comply with Ampleon's Supplier Code of Conduct, which includes requirements relating to conflict minerals and responsible sourcing. Ampleon suppliers shall have a policy to assure that the tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold in the products they manufacture do not directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups that are perpetrators of serious human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of Congo or an adjoining country. Ampleon suppliers shall exercise due diligence on the source and chain of custody of these minerals and shall make their due diligence measures available to Ampleon upon Ampleon’s request.

In addition, Ampleon suppliers are required to provide evidence of their own corporate policy on the use of conflict-free minerals and information from their suppliers concerning the origin of the metals which are used in the manufacture of Ampleon’s products. Based upon information provided by our suppliers, Ampleon does not knowingly use metals derived from the Conflict Region.
