Conference
Beyond our presence at the exhibition, Steven Theeuwen, Device Physicist at Ampleon, will present his paper “LDMOS technology for power amplifiers up to 12 GHz". This is tentatively scheduled for presentation in Session EuMIC10 - Si-Based High-Frequency and Power Devices and Novel Microwave Technologies - to be held on Monday, 24 September, starting 16:10 in room N101 + N102.
On Tuesday, September 25, between 13:30 and 15:30 Ammar Issaoun will elaborate “On Stability Analysis and Loop Oscillation of Multi-Finger GaN FET Cells for High Power Amplifiers” in Session EuMC/EuMIC04-10 in the exhibition hall.
And, finally, Sergio Pires, Advanced Concepts and Systems Group, will chair the EuMC20: Solid State High Power Amplifier on Wednesday, 26 September from 8:30-10:10 in room N106.
Student Competition
European Microwave Week features the third European Microwave Student School for bachelor and master students from all over Europe. This year‘s topic is “Microwave Circuits in Planar Technologies” and our colleague Dr Osman Ceylan, Innovation Engineer, will be there to speak about “Power amplifier design” on Monday 24 September from 17:00 to 17:50 in room N107.
Ampleon would like to support ambitious students by giving them a platform to share their innovative ideas in the field of high power semiconductor business, using Ampleon’s devices. Therefore, we are pleased to sponsor Thrust 2 (Video Bandwidth Enhancement for High Power Amplifiers) of the Student Design Competition of the European Microwave Symposium 2018 in Madrid/Spain. The thrust is supervised by Dr Osman Ceylan and Dr Lazaro Marco-Platon.
