The IEEE MTT International Microwave Symposium (IMS) is the premier annual international meeting for technologists involved in all aspects of microwave theory and practice. Ampleon, the leading global partner in RF Power, will participate in the exhibition and present papers in various sessions.

At our booth # 914, we will display our products as well as technology demonstrators and have our experts introducing them to you.

Some of our most popular offerings this year, targeting the Mobile Broadband, Broadcast, ISM, Aerospace & Defense, and RF Energy segments, include:

  • Our latest innovations in PA solutions for Mobile Broadband applications
  • New Doherty Amplifiers in Broadcast
  • High Efficiency S-band Radar Pallets & Transistors, LDMOS for C-band Demonstrator
  • New Generation High Power Broadband GaN
  • Latest Extremely Rugged High Power Transistor for Industrial, Medical and Scientific markets
  • World smallest 2.5 GHz, 915 MHz and 433 MHz modules for RF Energy

Beyond our presence at the exhibition, Sergio Pires, Advanced Concepts and Systems Group Leader will present in a workshop “Power Amplifier Innovations for 5G systems” on Sunday, June 4, Talk 6 (detailed location will be provided onsite).

Xavier Moronval, RF Design & Applications Team Leader, Senior Principal Engineer” who is one of the finalists of the IMS Industry Paper competition, will present his paper (TU2G-2) on “A Compact 60 W MMIC Amplifier Based on a Novel 3-Way 1:2:1 Doherty Architecture with Best-in-Class Efficiency for Small Cells” on Tuesday, June 6 from 10:10 to 11:50 a.m. in Room 316A.

Andre Prata, PhD intern. will be presenting his paper (TUIF3-17) “Towards Circulator-Free Multi Antenna transmitter for 5G” on Tuesday, June 6 from 3:40 p.m. to 5:10 p.m. at the overlook concourse at the Hawaii Convention Center.

And, finally, Raheem Qureshi, PhD intern.  will present his paper (THIF2-10) on “High efficiency RF Power Amplifiers featuring package integrated load insensitive Class-E devices” on Thursday, June 8 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the Overlook Concourse at the Hawaii Convention Center.
