As part of Ampleon’s Toulouse site, you will join a highly skilled and collaborative team driving the design, development, and industrialization of RF power amplifiers and RF modules for 4G/5G mobile base stations. This position reports to the Industrialization Team Leader and is part of the Industrialization Team, which includes four experienced product engineers.

You will be part of a cross-functional project team, working in collaboration with the other R&D functions located in Toulouse (France) and also in Nijmegen (the Netherlands). You will be in charge of industrializing, at our manufacturing site in the Philippines, the new RF products developed in France for 4G/5G cellular base stations.

Your main tasks and activities:

• Lead the industrialization of new products (RF power amplifiers) from the design phase through the ramp-up phase 
• Define and set the electrical production test strategy of new products (RF integrated circuits and RF modules)
• Ensure consistency of electrical test results across different sites and test setups
• Drive the qualification of test setups on the manufacturing site for each new product (measurement system analysis)
• Assess manufacturing capability of new products by performing yield and Cpk analysis on test results (FT & WT) from pilot lots
• Lead the release to production of new products and provide related project deliverables
• Provide technical support to the manufacturing team on request
• Monitor product yield and lead cost and quality action plans during the ramp-up phase
• Participate in problem-solving teams as required

With an Engineering degree or a Master’s degree in Electrical, Microwave, or Telecommunications, you are motivated to develop your career in an industrial and innovative environment.

• General understanding of integrated circuits design, semiconductor fabrication and assembly, and automated testing
• Academic knowledge of statistical data analysis (knowledge of the LEAN 6 sigma method is a plus)
